Chad, we are in Isaiah 64, ended last episode with the prayer for mercy, which I like this prayer for mercy, as we talked about last episode,

because it gives you kind of some interesting ways of talking to God.

I mean, the end of this prayer is, hey, God, why you make me wander?

What is that?

Why are you hardening your heart so I don't fear you anymore?

How come all of a sudden I feel like I'm somebody whom you never ruled over, and I was never called by your name?

And this is, of course, the answer to all this is because you're rebellious and hard-hearted and wander around all the time.

And that's why don't follow my rules.

And it's not that I didn't give you any.

It's that you don't like them.

But what it does is it gives you that there is a helplessness. And of course,

when you're helpless, that's when you're asking for mercy, that says, you know how I am.

Only you can change this. Right. There's, I have no chance of changing any of these things.
