| 0:07.0 | Now, guys, we have gone a good while and we've done one whole chapter. |
| 0:12.0 | And that's kind of how we like it here. I'll follow him. |
| 0:16.0 | We like to go verse by verse, but we can't do that for the entire block. So, Ross, what do you want to do next? |
| 0:21.0 | I'd love to focus maybe on the Savior if we could and talk about a couple of verses in Isaiah 59 |
| 0:29.0 | and jump to the Savior's mission in Isaiah 61. Is that okay? |
| 0:33.0 | That sounds great. |
| 0:34.0 | So, in Isaiah 59, we have another question guiding the kind of the chapter. |
| 0:41.0 | And the idea is that I think the people are basically saying, you know, why don't you hear us? The kind of similar to Isaiah 58. |

| 1:09.0 | Your iniquities have separated you. |
| 1:12.0 | Exactly. And 2 through 8 really, I mean, it's just horrific. Somebody asked me when Lehigh is teaching and they have to leave. |
| 1:20.0 | You know, were the people that bad? Like, yes, like the Jeremiah, like, they are bad. |
| 1:27.0 | And this is 100 plus years before Lehigh leaves. But I mean, you talk about there's murder going on. |
| 1:33.0 | Verse 3, your hands are defiled, your liars. There's no justice. There's your vanity is going on. |
| 1:41.0 | And then we've got this great stuff about they're trying to cover themselves. Fake counterfeit atonements |
| 1:48.0 | with other kind of gods, their feet, verse 7, run to evil. They haste to shed innocent blood, the way of peace. |
| 1:55.0 | They don't know. I love this verse in verse 14. Judgment is turned away backward. |
| 2:03.0 | What an interesting way to say, justice standeth afar off. |
| 2:08.0 | So, it's like you've got this personification of justice. And by the way, justice is always masculineized and mercy is always feminized. |
