When the Son of Man comeeth, shall he find faith on the earth?

Lord, I believe, help thou mine unbelief.

Hello, my friends. Welcome back to Unchaken for our fifth and final week in Isaiah.

I don't know about you, but I have mixed feelings about being here at the end of this incredible book of Scripture.

On the one hand, I'm looking forward to the rest of our year.

Starting next week, we'll get two weeks on Jeremiah. He's amazing.

We'll get only one week on Ezekiel, which is a travesty, because he deserves more than one.

We'll have a week on Daniel, and then we'll fly our way through the minor prophets, averaging two prophets a week until we get to the end of this year of Old Testament Scripture study.

So I am looking forward to the rest of our year, but I am sad to see Isaiah go.

I imagine many of you were sad to see him come, or at least were a little nervous about it.

And I get that. I totally understand. But I really do hope that you're feeling a bit of that sorrow as well, knowing that his time with us is coming to its close.

I hope after a month worth of immersing yourself in Isaiah, you've begun to understand his approach.

That you're reading these things with a bit of a Hebrew accent in the back of your head, kind of like reading Shakespeare enough, you start to think in British.

There's power here, and his eloquence and his imagery are such gifts.

I love what Moroni does in ether 12, where he basically says, I can't do justice to the things that I'm trying to write about.

And I get that as a teacher. I can't do justice to the subject matter when you're teaching about Almighty God.

When you're teaching about a perfect gospel.

Our words just fall short, that's the way it is. And as Moroni said, you can behold the awkwardness of your hands, or in my case, my stammering lips.

But then when Moroni talks about the brother Jared, and he says, when he wrote, you gave him the gift of writing.
