about Israel's sin, that was the header, and the servant's obedience. So there's a little

contrast here about here's the sort of thing you do, and here's the sort of thing I do, largely

in response to you doing that thing. Somebody's going to have to be obedient here, okay?

so it's going to have to be me. This is basically what God has to say. Yeah, it's definitely not

going to be Israel. It's going to be the servant who is called Israel, who embodies exactly

who Israel was always, always supposed to be.

And in the verses leading up to this verses, so Isaiah 50 verse 4 through 6, we hear more about this servant.

He has one of these open ears, God's given him an open ear to hear his word.
