No. We're just going to, let's just jump right into it then. We jump in. All right, fine. Who wants to take the lead, fellas?

You destroyer who yourself have not been destroyed. You traitor whom none has

betrayed. When you have ceased to destroy, you will be destroyed. And when you have finished

Well, my understanding is that all of these prophecies, these woes, are preparing us for the

kind of for the narrative that we're going to read in chapters 36 through 39, which recounts Sinakurib's invasion of Judah

with Assyria, Sinacrib being the leader of Assyria, and that the destroyer here is referring to Assyria

and that the Lord is going to, you know, the one who destroys is going to be destroyed.

The Lord's going to overcome them.

So I think these prophecies are preparing us for that narrative.

But they are being spoken of, as we've talked about often, being spoken of in such a way that they are pointing beyond themselves to

you know greater patterns in redemptive history that are ultimately going to culminate eschatologically
