Dear listener, I did not get the invite. Okay. So we're going to do Isaiah 28 today. Isaiah 28.

And we have moved out of the mini-apocalypse section that we covered.

And I believe last episode, you said that this next section of Isaiah,

I can't remember the exact parameters, 28 to something,

is like a repetition of more woes of judgment?

Or how did you characterize it well once we

hit to once we hit chapter 36 uh 36 through 39 is a narrative that is repeated from uh what we've

already read second kings so 28 to 35 uh i believe is its own literary unit i don't have the structure of it worked out.

That's something I hope that we can kind of get sorted as we go through these chapters together.

Just generally, what we're going to find is more like the prophecies that we saw in 13 through 23,

more prophecies related to the judgment of Ephraim, Israel, the nations

around them, further eschatological hopes, especially that we're going to find in Isaiah 35.

Yeah, so we're going to see some similarities there with that section that we saw before 24 to 27,

13 to 23.
