Hello, my friends. Hey, I want to ask you to imagine 3,700 years from now.

Can you even conceive of that? Can you even get your brain around what the world might be like then, what your descendants might be doing?

The reason I have you think about that

is because today we're looking at a prophecy that was given 3,700 years ago and was actually

given 1,800 years before its fulfillment happened. Welcome to the morning mindset. This is our

opportunity to get our minds aligned with the truth of God's word.

And today we're doing so by getting into this Christmas series called Fortold.

Now, we're looking at the prophecies of Jesus so that this Christmas season we can better appreciate the amazing miracle it is that God sent him to us. So I hope you can join me for

this entire series as we lead up to Christmas Day. Now, friends, before we get started, I want to

remind you, I've got a lot of books that are available for your edification and your growth,

some of them fiction, some of them nonfiction. And I'm going to be highlighting

some of those this Christmas season because they would make great Christmas gifts. And at this

point, you still have time to get them before Christmas. What I want to focus on today is a fiction

with scripture to help understand

let's pray that our God will help us as we understand

his word today. Lord, help us as we read your word to understand first of all what the prophecies are

saying and secondly, how they were fulfilled in Jesus, narrowing down the focus so that we can identify him as the true Messiah.

We ask it in Jesus' name, amen.
