He is a fashion designer, a cabaret singer, an author and many other things.

And he has written a memoir called, I Am.

Isaac, thank you for being here.

So thrilled, really?

So I began this book and immediately could see that you were very much a book person.

In addition to, I imagine being a cabaret person and a fashion person and other things.

But your apograph is just Susan Sontag in the very first paragraph of your introduction

or your prologue.

You write about reading the multi-volume series, A History of Private Life, which was not,

those were not short books.

That was about sort of the entirety of Western civilization.
