Summary

My guest today is Isaac Carew

Isaac is a chef, Instagram sensation and has also been working as a model for the last decade modelling for some of the world’s biggest fashion brands. He’s been described a chef-turned-model-turned-chef again

He trained at culinary school for two years and received his big break in 2007 cooking alongside Angela Hartnett at The Connaught before being scouted as a model at the age of 22.

He is one half of an impossibly cool and glamarous duo – with his girlfriend being the music superstar Dua Lipa. In 2018, Evening Standard named him as one of London's most influential people in the Tastemakers: Eat and Drink category.

Hope you’re all well and that you’ve had a lovely week. If you haven’t yet left a 5* rating for desert island dishes and you’ve been enjoying listening – then consider it your good deed of the day – I read all of them and it genuinely does make a big difference, so thank you.

My first newsletter went out last week – and now I hope its going to be a weekly occurrence – there will be an exclusive recipe in there each week plus little bits and bobs that I think you might be interested in – from what’s in season and what you can cook with it, homewares worth lusting after, podcasts, books and everything in between. If you fancy signing up, go to (https://www.desertislanddishes.co) and you can sign up there. The more the merrier and it just feels a bit more intimate and fun than social media does, so I’m glad I’m finally doing it.

Don’t forget you can find me on instagram (https://www.instagram.com/margienomura/)

Thank you so much for listening! I will see you next week!

Hi, I'm Margie Namura and welcome to the Desert Island Dishes podcast. This is the podcast where every week I ask my guests to choose their seven desert island dishes. These range from finding out about the dish that most reminds them of their childhood, the best dish they've ever eaten, and of course, the last dish they would choose to eat before

2:17.5

Yeah, I definitely think, because I think most people think that every single model just eats like kale salads. Yeah.
