Foolish people are motivated by pain.

It has to hurt like crazy before they change.

This season, we are talking about relationships.

We all have many different relationships in our lives and none more important than our relationship

with Christ and our spouse. But are there other relationships in your life that are hurting

your most important ones? That's what we're talking about today. In marriage, this can happen

over and over and it's like we have the same fight and then we end up in the same ditch

and we do it again and we do it again and we do it again. It's like, well, we need to learn that

these decisions lead to these conclusions. And at some point, reality isn't going to change,

just like gravity isn't going to change. I've got to figure out how to work with it. A plus B equals C. Yeah. It's not going to equal D next time.

And then also to people who are in the, when you're in the flesh, we're selfish.

And we have low empathy and we tend to blame shift.

And so even if we make a bad decision or we're being, you know, unreasonable or ungodly,

somebody brings it to our attention,

we'll shift the blame.

You're not being loving.

That's very judgmental.

You know, you're no better than me.
