Summary

We base our eternity, our values, our morals, and our way of life on the words of the Bible. But what if the words in your Bible aren't the same words in the original Hebrew and Greek Scriptures? What if the translation you're reading hasn't been translated word for word but instead was interpreted concept for concept? Sadly many modern Bibles are not accurate translations of the original texts. In this episode, Dale and Veronica discuss the importance of choosing a reliable translation of the Bible.

and then several people asking what versions of the Bible I read or what translation do I

1:34.4

think is best, because their translation, their reading, that passage out of just seemed a little

bit different. Yeah. I was like, we really, I think we really should do a podcast episode on it.

So here we are. Yeah. And so Veronica and I, we read the New King James version. We'll explain

1:50.3

why we also read ESV. But there's going to be a huge backstory that, to be honest, we both

never knew about a couple of years ago. So we're excited to share that journey with you. I think

2:01.6

this is a really important episode for anybody who's serious about scripture. Before we get started,

again, would you guys, if you haven't already, and I know thousands of you have, would you leave

number 13, I think last week of all religious and spiritual podcasts. That's every religion.

And so that's a big deal because we were, we were competing with probably the, I mean, literally
