and I think this is actually, even though it's not a national story, I think it is a national story

because there are other states that are doing or have done or are trying to do what Wisconsin,

or Republicans in Wisconsin did, which is, you know, about a decade ago, they got a trifecta,

they got control of the, well, actually quad-fecta, they got control of the governor's mansion,

the house, the senate, and took control of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

And then they started gerrymandering like there was just no tomorrow.

They have gerrymandered that state so heavily that in the 2018 election,

all of the statewide offices, not all of them, but most of the statewide offices,

went in the neighborhood of 54% for Democrats.

And yet, the Republicans retained a super majority in the Wisconsin State House of Representatives.
