Summary

(00:00-22:38) – Query & Company opens on a Thursday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing a variety of topics. The show starts off with Jake reminiscing on the movie Hoosiers with Gene Hackman passing away. He also briefly discusses the wins last night for the Pacers and Hoosiers.

(22:38-35:12) – On yesterday’s show, Shane Steichen joined the program ahead of the combine to talk Colts. Jake replays a couple pieces from that interview regarding Anthony Richardson. It leads to Jake explaining why it could take some time for Richardson to become the franchise quarterback the Colts are hoping he becomes.

(35:12-46:39) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake explaining why quarterback competition could be good for Anthony Richardson.

(46:39-1:09:17) – Last night the Indiana Pacers picked up a win over the Toronto Raptors on the back of Tyrese Haliburton. Jake and Eddie discuss if they believe that the Haliburton that fans voted to be an All-Star starter a season ago is back.

(1:09:17-1:22:51) – Newly named FOX on IndyCar pit reporter, Georgia Henneberry, joins Jake Query on today's show to explain the timeline of events from finding out IndyCar was moving to FOX to finding out FOX will be bringing her on as a pit reporter. She takes Jake through her racing career before getting into broadcasting, her excitement about becoming a first-time mother just a couple weeks ago, and if she still gets nervous before a broadcast starts.

(1:22:51-1:32:36) – Hour number two concludes with Jake asking Eddie what board games he has played, and they give away two pairs of tickets for a listener to go see Luke Bryan in concert!

(1:32:36-1:56:24) – Mike DeCourcy from BTN, FOX, and The Sporting News joins Query & Company to provide his opinion on where Indiana is currently at in his bracketology. DeCourcy also discusses the recent struggles for the Purdue Boilermakers, who he believes would be home run hires for the IU coaching job and evaluates who the coach of the year should be in the Big Ten.

(1:59:29-2:10:42) – Tony East from Locked On Pacers joins Jake Query and starts his conversation with Jake about his honeymoon in Hawaii. Once they finish talking about his experience, they discuss if the All-Star starter version of Tyrese Haliburton is back and explains why the outlook for the rest of the season is not good for Jarace Walker.

(2:10:42-2:17:02) – Today’s show closes with Jake sharing some final thoughts on the passing of Gene Hackman.

I can so vividly recall what it meant to everybody in this state to have the movie Hoosiers made.
