let's get into it. We are leading off this morning with a provocative question. Yeah, Brez thinks

Is Trump losing sway on Capitol Hill?

That is a question that's bouncing around House Republican and Senate Republican circles.

And we've started to see this on issue after issue both in Washington and state capitals around the country,

Republicans are giving Trump the stiff arm. This, of course, comes after the start of this

Congress where they were kind of doing his bidding anything he wanted. He was able to have success on.

Now they're ignoring his policy demands and dismissing his diatribes even as they continue

pledging allegiance to Trump politically.

An interesting kind of game of jih Tzu, right, saying, hey, we're going to go our own way on

policy and politics. But hey, I still love the president.

This is so obvious to me. I mean, this is like smacking us, it was smacking most of us in the face

yesterday, like not literally, but whatever.

Trump calls for a gas tax holiday. John Thune dismisses it. Mike Johnson says it's an intriguing

...
