0:37.9	society? Okay. So this is where people have to build a belief system and a value system. The only way
0:45.1	to not be swayed just by what other people are saying or by the pressure is to understand what you
0:51.4	believe and to have an anchoring mechanism. So here's how I built my
0:55.4	belief system and value system. Okay, so first of all, you need to have a North Star. My North Star is
1:00.0	human flourishing. I would highly encourage people to have an honorable North Star, meaning it isn't just
1:04.2	good for you. It's good for those around you as well, for the largest group possible. Okay, once you
1:10.0	have that North Star, now it becomes a question of
1:12.3	how do you move towards that North Star? So for me, utility in service of moving towards an
1:17.8	honorable goal is the way that I build up my belief system. So my values are how I believe the
1:23.2	world ought to be. My beliefs are how I believe the world is. Remember, we're not good at
1:26.9	identifying truth. So beliefs are actually decisions because you're going to decide what through testing you
