You are Connor Eccles, and this is Earthling Unplugged, where we talk about the weekend edition of Robert Wright's non-zero newsletter on Substack and important stories of the week. Our first item in today's issue of The Earthling includes a video sermonette by Bob in which

he talks about the election and the best way for people on the

blue team to react to Trump's various provocations and outrages going forward when Trump becomes

president again. It remains to be seen whether Trump's pretty incredible political comeback,

which he completed this week, will be accompanied by a full-scale version of, you know,

comeback of the resistance or, you know, resistance liberalism.

But we know at least one person who doesn't particularly like Trump, Bob himself,

will be practicing what he calls mindful resistance, which Bob advocated in 2016 after the first

Trump victory, and Bob is now advocating again

after Trump's re-election. And in the sermonette, Bob gives some useful tips to liberals and other

never-Trumpers on how to maintain their poison equanimity and how to avoid feeding the trolls.

Trump is very good at inciting liberal outrage that sometimes makes

some liberals seem a little unhinged, at least in the eyes of Trump supporters. So again,

that's the first item in today's newsletter. Later in the episode, we'll be talking to Bob about

it and other ramifications of this week's election. Maybe we'll also talk to him about

an AI-related essay that he
