What happens if you openly disagree with modern genderqueer, non-binary theories of sex and gender?

An even trickier question for you. What happens if you disagree with those

theories and you're also a medical doctor? And here's a bigger question for you. What happens

if you disagree with those theories and you're also a medical doctor and a transsexual yourself?

In fact, one of the most important trans activists in America.

Dana Byer is just such a person, one of the most influential and effective trans activists in

history. She's a medical doctor. She's a self-described transsexual, which sort of, it hits the

ear in a funny way these days, the word transsexual. It sounds a bit old-fashioned, maybe even a bit

pejorative. But according to Dr. Bayer, it describes a real medical condition where your brain

has the opposite sex from your body and always has, and you've been sure of this from an early

age. Dr. Bayer believes this is related to

intersex conditions and that intersex and transsexualism should be categorized medically

in a way that deserves treatment and compassion, but are distinct from the current mood that we

have for assuming that anybody who feels like their gender might be

fluid or non-binary has the same essentially seat at the table as traditional transsexuals

like herself. She believes that transsexuals are threatened, under threat, harmed by newer

genderqueer non-binary theories of sex. She is no stranger to fighting on behalf of

trans rights. I mean, she has met with Barack Obama. She's met with Michelle Obama. She's met with

Hillary Clinton. She's met with Bernie Sanders. She met with Joe Biden. She's achieved landmark

wins for LGBT rights. And today, she has concerns about modern gender theory.
