former president versus current president

newly convicted felon versus father of newly convicted felon

the two oldest major party candidates to ever run for the top job, record-breaking old men, one guy facing

more legal challenges than every other president in history combined, the other guy facing

relentless calls to step down from just about every

corner of his own party, but saying he's got to stick around because American

democracies on the line. We had never seen anything like it before, before this past weekend, before a

kid in Pennsylvania tried to kill Donald Trump.

America just dodged a bullet and maybe we can learn something from it.
