Mark Gregston. And one day they will see that and mature to the point that they will realize

the sacrifice that's been made, the time that's been made, and the intent of why we're doing what we're doing,

to get to a better place with them so that I can speak truth into their life as they go through

these difficult times. That's what I want. And usually I just sit back. I mean, even a fool

appears wise when he keeps their mouth shut. And so instead of sharing information, we need to be sharing

wisdom. So I would look at any parent and say this. Well, mom, what wisdom do you carry? And it's a shift in

thinking. Instead of just correcting, correcting, correcting, it ought to be more intentional

connecting, connecting, connecting. Mark is our teen expert today, and he has earned that title. He's worked with teens and

their parents for over 50 years. He and his wife, Jan, started Heartlight Ministries in

1988, is a residential counseling center in Longview, Texas.

He also is the host of Parenting Teens Today podcast and has written over 20 different books.
