It's a game week I was thinking about whether I should go live on YouTube tonight or not.

My wife is actually broadcasting a Links game as we speak. That game's just wrapping up.

And so I was watching that and I was thinking man I'm

enjoying the couch here it's been a nice day a nice you know summer afternoon I played

basketball I mowed the lawn it was a very nice day.

But then I was thinking, no, it's game week.

We gotta go, we gotta talk football,

because we've been through a lot to get here.

I mean, think about this, the last time we had a game week to talk about was in

January. It is September my friends how does it happen? It has been a long journey.

We have seen all sorts of Minnesota Vikings players

that we were around for a long time leave.

We've seen a lot of new players come in.

We've gone through OTA's mini camp, training camp.

I got Sunburn, bought a new house,

went to a wedding, lost my voice. A lot has happened in all of the time that we have gone through in order to get to week one and I can't miss any opportunity whatsoever in order to talk football with you guys.

So here we are week one and there's a lot on my mind of course that we're going to be covering throughout the week. Another very exciting thing is that this

channel if you're watching on YouTube or if you're listening on the podcast version,

there's going to be new stuff this year and it's going to be very exciting.

So we are relaunching the Hot Routes brand and so there's a separate podcast feed

but it's going to be the same purple insider channel.
