And returning to the show, Emily Liker, Minnesota Vikes Beat Reporter for the Minnesota Star

Tribune, and also a native of the Pacific Northwest, which has to be pretty interesting

for you, Emily, you what grew up as a Seattle Seahawks enjoy, or is that right?

Yes, I did grow up watching the Seahawks, enjoying the Seahawks.

My discovery of like wanting to be a sports journalist coincided with

their two Super Bowl appearances and like the Legion of Boom era and Marshaun Lynch and all that.

So all of that is very nostalgic to me. And so it is interesting now, what, 12 years later to

have them be back and now also have this tie of

having covered Sam Darnold for part of last season and all of that. It makes for an enjoyable

viewing experience having just kind of the background with them and then the background with Sam.

And I'm excited. I'm interested for this Super Bowl rematch, obviously,

did not end so well last time for the Seahawks against the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

Do you remember, like, where you were watching when that happened,

when Russell Wilson through the interception, the goal line?

Yes.

I remember, like, the silence in the room. I was at like a house party, um, thrown by like my

parents' friends. So it was like us and like a bunch of kids my age because I was like 13 at the time,

I think. Um, so yes, I was, I was like sitting on a couch in a basement. I had been like already

asking my parents like,

are we going to go to the Super Bowl parade again?
