Louise Miguel Is Shegari, first of all welcome and I don't know how many of our listeners are familiar with the Copa America tournament, but I certainly hope this episode is going to get them excited for the next month of action but before we

get into it I'm curious what your favorite memory is from this soccer tournament

oh my that's such a loaded question to start right from the topless. I mean obviously for those that follow the game

Cop America is such an important

tournament for South Americans, the Latin American community,

and if you are Argentinian or Brazilian or even Uruguayan,

you probably have fun their memories because you know there's some of the most

reputable names when it comes to this tournament but I'm Peruvian as as many knows so you know I have to go back

actually not that long ago the 2019 edition Peru actually made it to the

final against Brazil. Great ball forward Guerrero goes for it. Guarero the crowning moment of glory in a wonderful career and Peru are on their way to the

Copper America Final.

We lost the Brazil in the end but my God that was amazing but I tell you something

that question the list is probably better for my parents and my the elder parts of my family

because the very first time Cop America was named Cop America which was in 1975 Peru won that one and that was a

really amazing time in proven history. The fact that the United States is hosting the South American tournament for the second time no less,

what do you make of it?

You know, it's really, really special for a few reasons.

It's a mini dress rehearsal for the World Cup, right?

Like it really does feel like that.

Many of the cities that are hosting Miami, Dallas,

slash Arlington, Kansas City, of course,

these cities are going to be host cities
