national speaker and best-selling author.

He continues to consult on cold case investigations while serving as a Senior Fellow at the Colson Center for Christian

Worldview.

He is also an adjunct professor of apologetics at Biola University and a faculty member

at Summit Ministries.

Hey, thanks so much for having, Brian.

Good to talk to you again after the time we spent together

in the last couple of years actually presenting the case, right?

So it's been nice to see us again.

You recently wrote the book God's Crime Scene, a cold case detective examines the evidence for

a divinely created universe. In this book you discuss the evidence for a designer behind the universe as a whole in our world and particularly in life.

Please share what motivated you to write this book.

Yeah, sometimes when you write books, right, you're just kind of tracing your own experience.

And that was the case for me.

I started off as an ability pretty conscientious atheist for years and eventually took a look at the Gospels that my wife was interested in kind of going to church and to see what this is all about and so we were together about almost 20 years, 18 years,

before we ever considered going to church seriously.

And I would have gone as an atheist.

I was happy to do that.

But I started to look at the Gospels

in the New Testament to see if they were telling me
