1:43.5	way to explain the universe, the emergence of life and consciousness that is both scientifically
1:50.8	rigorous, yet not reductive and is still, I would say centrally reverent to consciousness.
1:59.2	And what could even be called spirituality depending, of course, on your definition of the word.
2:05.2	Wouldn't that perk up your wonder whiskers? Well, actually, there is. And we have our brilliant
2:13.2	guest this week to thank for that. His name is Bobby Azarian. He is a cognitive neuroscientist,
2:20.0	and he's the author of the romance of reality, how the universe organizes itself to create life,
2:26.7	consciousness, and cosmic complexity. And not only am I digging what the book presents,
2:32.8	it's a surprisingly great read. I found it to be just the right mix of readability and nuance.
