It's titled, Warning, Warning, Warning,

this is what a scam looks like don't bite and what's going on

is that people are getting emails from Norton from Amazon from PayPal from you know like major sites that many of us interact with saying that you know

your credit card was just charged three hundred and twenty six326 for your annual renewal.

And if you have a problem with this, call this number.

And so people get these and they go,

I didn't order Norton, or I just renewed last month or whatever,

you know. And so they call this number. And the person on the other side who is typically speaking

with a very thick Indian accent.

These are scams run out of boiler rooms in India by large.

The person on the other side says, oh well well we'll give you a refund no problem

that three hundred twenty six dollars was wrongly a bill to you just go to this website

you know g g g g g g g g g g and it looks like the Norton support page right and then they say just

you know now click here and enter your bank account number so that we can put this

money back in your checking account and you put the bank

account number in and they empty your bank account right then and there while

they're talking to you on the phone they take all your money. So heads up.

Apparently, you know, if you get one of these weird emails,

it looks like it's from Google or from Amazon or from PayPal
