wherever you are. And we have got so much to cram in in our time together. If it's okay with all of you,

I'm going to make a couple of brief reflections relating to the Kefili by-election and the deputy leadership contest,

and then delve a bit more deeply into the reappearance of Brexit, into the political debate

in the build-up to the budget, which is interesting on so many levels. I won't have time to reflect on them

all, but I know it's of interest, this theme to the rock and roll politics cooperative.

Wherever you stand, most of us are or were remainers, but we've got quite a few, I get quite a few

emails from supporters of reform.

So, you know, you're interested from a different perspective.

And then some brilliant questions.

And I've had so many brilliant questions.

What I think I'm going to do on the second podcast this week is pluck out two or three of the questions because they raise

really deep themes and we can explore them with a bit more time. So that's what will happen.

So for example, there's a really interesting email posing the question, was David Owen

right about the liberal Democrats, the liberals, as they were

at the beginning of the SDP period? And that brings us right up to date with the Lib Dems now.

And we hear from Venetia Kane, by the way, they do very well in a couple of by-elections in

Somerset. We'll hear that later on. Anyway, that's the kind of example of what we will do later in the week.
