Summary

I get asked a lot about what I think of the opinions, conclusions, or interviews of people on the Right, or at least associated with the Right. It might be Libertarian Dave Smith on Gaza, Nick Fuentes on feminism, Candace on Charlie's assassination, or Tucker believing Israel controls America's foreign policy, Joe Kent's reasons for resigning, or James Lindsey using the term "woke right" to describe many people. Those answers are always more complicated than I can usually provide in a social media post. So here is my honest attempt to explain what I think is going on on the Right.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, today we're going to talk about the right-wing civil war.

0:06.5

And we're going to ask, is the right like just deliberately trying to destroy itself at this point?

0:11.0

Because obviously, it's not as if the thing that used to unify many different factions of the right has gone away.

0:18.0

Woke progressivism is still there. Leftism is still there.

0:22.9

The things that we were commonly referring to as problematic and degeneracy and threats to

0:27.8

Western civilization are still there. But as per SOP, the right has decided that it's now time

0:33.7

to focus almost exclusively internally and to do whatever we can to destroy ourselves.

0:40.1

And today, I'm going to address some of the things that I've been seen. And here's the thing I want

0:45.7

everyone to understand about what I'm trying to do here. Because I'm going to mention certain

0:49.9

individuals by name. And we're going to go through ways that they approach it. But the other thing that I'm going to point out is that there are other people on the right

0:58.0

that are addressing the same issue as these individuals, but they're doing it in a way that I completely

1:03.0

understand and I feel like is in line with at least what used to be conservative ways of thinking.

1:09.0

And one of the things that conservatism

1:11.6

has typically prided itself on

1:13.7

is this idea as a commitment to objective truth,

1:18.1

objective morality, and then using processes

1:21.3

like the laws of logic, right?

1:23.0

The law of identity, the law of excluded middle,

1:25.2

the law of non-contradiction,

1:27.0

in order to analyze evidence

1:29.4

and come to reasonable conclusions. And there are times where we disagree because sometimes the

1:34.4

evidence isn't conclusive. But there's still supposed to be this commitment to processes.
