The theme of today's show is kind of like, what else has been going on besides the Carolina hurricanes? except we cannot escape the discussion about the Carolina hurricanes because it happened last night, Joe. Your mighty Colorado avalanche got hit with the double whammy of the president's trophy curse. This is being labeled as one of the greatest upsets in conference finals history dating back to when John Tortorello was the coach

of Columbus and they did it to Tampa.

I think that was what in 2019, if I remember correctly. So John Tortoeroa... Oh, an eight over a one. Yeah, eight over a one. Okay. Upsets. I got you. In terms of upsets, right? So this is something that is a big deal. Tortorillo's been on the right end of this now twice.

And Colorado, Vegas. is something that is a big deal. Tortorillo has been on the right end of this now twice.

And Colorado, Vegas is enjoying their best life possible. They've only been in existence

since what, 2017? And this is their third. Their third couple periods. They've already

won one of them. They've won five division titles. They

won a cup and now this is their third cup appearance in as many years. And we'll see,

hopefully the Carolina Hurricanes will be the one that faces them in the Stanley Cup final.
