I hope you had a long weekend that was fun and worthwhile and even worth not having a Monday

We're going to fit in three shows this week, probably today, tomorrow, and Friday,

we all take off and we have a good time. I hope your families are safe, parish orphans,

more and more and more of a challenge. In today's

episode, we're going to talk about the tensions over clericalism, which swirl amid the Knights

of Malta overhaul undertaken by Francis, which began in 2016.

Last week, we had a kind of conclusion to all of the swirling turmoil with the knights of Malta that began in most of our view about six years ago when Cardinal Burke was removed

as the patron of the Knights of Malta over a strange, and all too typical, contraception

distribution scandal involving the Knights of Malta, there was a layman named

Bostlegger who was overseeing the distribution of condoms under the Knights of Malta.

Cardinal Burke, as the patron of the order, sovereign patron of the order, removed him.

And lots of holy men who support Cardinal Burke helped the transaction to take place.

And Francis basically shut it down six years ago.

He ended up removing Cardinal Burke, the good guy, as the, and I might have

some, so this is all out of semi, semi-recent memory, midterm memory. Cardinal Burke was removed as the patron

and Bo Sleger was reinstated by Francis. And for the last six years,

there have been little adjustments to the sovereign order of Malta. And last week, something

happened which seems to give us the direction, the cardinal direction in which Pope Francis is traveling.
