Thanks for calling you wonderful.

I was catching up with a friend recently, and she said,

Oh, I just got my life straws.

And I said, you're what?

She said, you never heard of a life straw.

And I said, no, There's a straw that people are

getting because they're trying to stock up on survival gear, which is an unsettling thought if you

stop to think about it for a moment. And then also it's unsettling because I haven't really

thought about what survival gear I need if the world, you know, goes even further in an

unexpected direction.

Well, what does the life straw do?

It's a straw that you could stick into a puddle or like a creek or something.

A toilet?

I guess you probably wouldn't want to do that, but you could if you desperately needed to.

I mean, I don't know.

Don't quote me on that.

But I'm thinking for our house, we've got to creep nearby.

We can stick a straw in it and suck the water through, and it goes through a filter,

and then it gets rid of bacteria, parasites, microplastics as you drink the water.
