Competition is heating up in Ohio amongst U.S. Senate candidates as they gear up for their primary on May 3rd. As endorsements pile in for front runners like Josh Mandel, who's supported by Texas Senator Ted Cruz, Mike Gibbons, who's backed by Florida Congresswoman Kat Cammack, and J.D. Vance, who received the highly sought-after endorsement of former President Donald Trump, all three candidates believe they have the proper support to see success on Election Day. Today, Ohio Republican Senate candidate Josh Mandel joins The Rundown to discuss why he's confident he can become Ohio's next senator without President Trump's endorsement, the role his faith plays in his politics, and how he plans to serve Ohioans if elected. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin recently returned from a trip to Kyiv where they met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. During that trip, it was announced that the United States would pledge more military aid and begin sending back American diplomats to Ukraine.
