| 0:44.5 | of Defense has a classification of religions for the purposes of like its chaplaincies and how |
| 0:50.9 | they treat soldiers and, you know, the services that they offer. And there was an effort to |
| 0:56.0 | consolidate some of their definitions. There was like hundreds of religions that were included in there, |
| 1:01.5 | and they've consolidated them. But they did not include, notably, the Church of Jesus Christ of |
| 1:07.6 | Latter-day Saints or the Mormon Church under its Christian classification. |
| 1:12.3 | And this caught the attention of Utah Senator Mike Lee. Obviously, Utah is a largely Mormon state, |
| 1:18.8 | who was pretty upset about this and wanted it to be included. This is an ongoing conversation |
| 1:24.7 | between Mormons and Christians. I know Mormons in my own life who consistently, |
| 1:30.7 | you know, say that they are part of the Christian church. And of course, the title that, |
| 1:35.2 | you know, they call themselves the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We had, I think, |
