I don't think I have to tell you that social media and the Internet has changed the way our relationships work,

and in turn, the way we feel about those relationships.

But it's more than that, too.

The rising cost of everything can leave us feeling like we spend all of our time working

so that when we're not working, rather than spending time with friends, we just want to be

recovering from all that work. Not to mention the pandemic. When COVID happened, I kind of felt

like I forgot how to make friends. Everything that's got so much harder and on top of it, we're all exhausted.
