Today, is the extreme,

is the extreme right the new terror threat.

Now when there's an attack a lot of people instantly make an assumption about who's done it.

The chaos unfolded early this afternoon when a man drove into pedestrians on West

the bridge. Six people were killed last night and more than 30 injured during a

terrorist attack, just two attacks. We are live in Manchester City Centre this lunchtime after 22 people died and more than 50 were hurt in a suicide bombing last night.

Is the Miss jihadist is sort of the main terrorist threat in this country, you know, according to the authorities

and certainly in terms of the number of prosecutions that we're seeing in the courts.

That's Daniel DeSimone. He works in the BBC News Home Affairs

team. And we're talking to him today because of a court case involving neo-Nazis, which

got us asking, how big a threat are they?

Now Daniel's fascinated by extremist groups, whatever ideology they hold.

What we've noticed over the past three or four years is that extreme right wing terrorism has become like a

something that was we've been spending an increasing amount of our time of our time on.

Two years ago this week actually a group called National Action

which was a kind of a neo-Nazi group created in this country in 2013. It was

it was banned under terrorism legislation which is a very rare thing
