Today I am delighted to be joined by Amy Wax, who is Professor of Law at the University of Pennsylvania,

still Professor of Law at the University of Pennsylvania, I should say,

even though she has been publicly suspended and had other sanctions imposed on her for her views,

for her statements about gender or sex, I should say biological sex and race.

Amy, I think we've probably, for our viewers and listeners,

we should probably get into the various accusations against you at some point.

But I thought I might start by saying I've been quite struck that there are quite a few people who stand up for free speech or seem to stand up for free speech in America who have decided that you have crossed their line.

And I noticed that John McWhorter wrote a piece in the New York Times. I think it was yesterday.

And John McWhorter, I think, signed that Harper's letter defending free speech, which was quite a big story a couple of years ago.
