0:48.5	Believe it or not, the disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ asked that same question back then. They were very curious about the signs
0:58.7	of the end of times, and they asked Jesus that same question. So we're not alone. And since I am
1:07.6	totally incapable of answering the question, or come close to answering the question,
1:13.8	I want to go to the Lord himself and let him answer the question.
1:18.3	I want you to turn with me to Matthew 24.
1:21.4	Verse 3 of Matthew 24, the disciples asked Jesus the question.
1:25.8	What will be the sign, or the signs, in the plural,
1:31.3	of the coming of the end of the age?
1:35.2	Beginning at verse 4, he gives him several things that indicates that his actual visible rule is in the distant future. It's not immediately.
1:50.5	And he said, it will be like labor pains, like labor pains. There will be false alarms, false messiahs, there will be international warfare,
2:07.6	there will be famines, there will be earthquakes. Ah, but that's just the beginning of the labor pains.
