Well, hello and welcome back to Kindled podcast. Today I have a conversation for you with Pastor Samuel Farag, who was saved out of the

Eastern Orthodox Church to Christianity. This is a fascinating conversation, and I learned so much from him.

I also have another episode on this topic that I will be airing next week with another person who is an expert on

Eastern Orthodoxy. So there's going to be a couple episodes on this, and I'm diving deep into it

because there's a trend happening right now of Christians, moving out of Protestant or

non-denominational kind of evangelical churches to more traditional

churches like the Eastern Orthodox Church and the Catholic Church, meaning the Roman Catholic Church.

So that's something that we've been talking about on Instagram.

It's something that a lot of you are dealing with in your real life.

You have friends, you have family,

loved ones who are converting, who are learning, considering converting. I've talked with people

whose husbands are exploring and they are trying to learn what are these beliefs. Is this

actually biblically true? Are these interpretations right? And so as you are searching, I hope that these

conversations can be a springboard for you to kind of get a mile wide and an inch deep,

hopefully maybe a little more than an inch deep on these teachings and these religions,

so that you can really grasp and understand what they are.
