Is the earth flat or not? What does the Bible teach us about the shape of the earth?

In this video, I want to present some common sense arguments, as well as scientific evidence and biblical references that support that the earth is not flat.

And then at the end, I'll share my encouragement and also a little bit of a warning.

Number one is the common sense arguments that the earth is not flat.

Well, we have pictures of the earth from space.

You can also sit on the beach and watch a ship go up over the horizon.

You can watch the sun go down, even though we know the sun doesn't rise and go down, but you can see them quickly.

Climb on the tree and watch it go down again. Take a picture of the stars at night from the foot of the mountain,

and then climb on the mountain and take another picture of the stars,

and you will see more stars from the top of the mountain.

Travel to Australia if you're in America,

or come to America if you're in Australia, and look at the night sky,

and you will see different constellations of stars.

Shadows of two same size sticks placed in different

places on earth are different lengths. Test is by calling a friend in a different city

and having them measured the shadow of a stick that you have sent to them. New York and London

have different times, which you can check by calling your friend in London or Sydney or Beijing.

This is because the sun is shining on one part of the earth and the other part is in darkness.
