This is College Football Inquirer with Stephen Goprey and Ross Dellinger.

I am Andy Staples and Ross is in Dallas and he is about to head into the lion's den

where all of the conference commissioners and the assorted muckety mucks will be meeting

about the college football playoff.

And unlike a lot of these meetings where nothing really happens, Ross, it seems like stuff's happening.

Yeah.

Oddly enough, it's happening in another committee a little bit, or at least deep

conversations about the playoff is happening in another committee.

One created sort of through the White House, I'm not going to say by the White House, but through the White House

as a result of the presidential roundtable that happened Friday. There have been six committees

created. And one of them is a media committee that includes five conference commissioners,

the power four in the American commissioner, P. Bo Vakwa, the Notre Dame Athletic Director.

So those six people are also on the CFP Committee and they're also on this media presidential committee.

And on the presidential committee are other folks, business executives and TV executives of well.

Yeah, when you say media, you're not talking about reporters.

You're talking about people who run media.

I think people should get that clear.
