Is it time to get rid of private health insurance and go to a single payer? That's a challenging question when it comes to health care reform. And here's an answer from a top advisor to former Vice President Joe Biden.

Americans have this very complicated relationship with their insurance company.

On the one hand, it's one of the great political lines to attack insurance companies.

On the other hand, when you poll people and you say, well, we're going to get rid of insurance

company.

Oh, no, I want to keep my insurance company.

So we're a little confused about what we want.

We'll talk at length with Biden advisor, Ezekiel Emanuel, about how America's health care system could be much better than it is now.

That's the second half of our podcast. First, it's police reform.

It's been less than a month since George Floyd's killing by a Minneapolis policeman and marchers are still demanding police reform.

The message has reached the White House, and President Trump has signed an executive order,

promoting what he calls the highest and strongest standards in the world.

Americans believe we must support the brave men and women in blue who police our streets and keep us safe.

Americans also believe we must improve accountability, increase transparency, and invest more resources in police training, recruiting, and community engagement. Reducing crime and raising

standards are not opposite goals. They are not mutually exclusive. They work together.

They all work together. That is why today I'm signing an executive order encouraging police departments nationwide to adopt

the highest professional standards to serve their communities. These standards will be as high

and as strong as there is on earth. Trump says he wants to hear from Republicans who control

the Senate and possibly from the House.
