I remember a conversation I was having with somebody

and he was saying, when you start feeling things boiling up,

let's just say you're in an argument with somebody

and you're going back and forth

and like it's getting really, really intense.

He said, you've got to ask yourself this question.

Is this the hill I want to dial?

It was a whole story about like this,

I don't know, this warrior

they say, yo, I'm about to give it all right now

and I will dial in this hill.

I will fight until the death right here.

And this was really, really good for me

in kind of like the relationship space

because some things don't need to be argued

about with so much intensity.

And I ask myself, yo, is this the hill I want to dial?

So let's say my wife has an opinion

and I have an opposite opinion.
