I want to talk about something that I learned probably about 20 years ago. It was a question that was posed to me. I don't know if I heard it on an audio I was listening to or somebody asked me.

It was during one of my training sessions.

Somebody was training me in the use of language and behavior and psychology.

And I remember I was telling them about this negative dialogue, this internal dialogue that I was having.

You know, the voices that come into our heads that talk down to us or make us believe that we can't do something.

I was sharing that with somebody and they asked the question. Again,

I don't remember if I read this or heard this, but I remember the question because I had to reflect

on it. And the question was, whose voice is that in? And it took me a second and I think I answered,

what do you mean? It's in my voice. It's my inner dialogue. And this is what I hear

and this is what they're saying. Let's just say it was, uh, I hate myself. I don't think I was saying

that back then, but let's just say that was the negative inner dialogue that I was experiencing.

And the question came up. Well, whose voice is that in and uh so like I said

it's my voice I can hear it in my head it's my voice and so after some reflection and

after some more understanding of why that question is asked and where it's supposed to lead you, it started

to make sense because we're not born with this voice.

If you think that we're born with this voice, that's another story.

And I won't discount that.

I'm not here to question anyone's beliefs or it could be a reality.
