| 0:20.0 | We'll cover it tomorrow. But right now, as I was driving in today, |
| 0:24.8 | remember the Lord was telling me to teach his people to live. I said, well, Lord, I need to learn how |
| 0:30.8 | to laugh more and love better and live livelier. And that's the beauty of teaching. I come from a long line of Ashkenazi |
| 0:39.6 | rabbis on my father's side. And I'll tell you a little secret that when you're teaching it, |
| 0:45.7 | you're learning it. And sometimes the secret of disciplining other people is the more you |
| 0:51.3 | reinforce to them, the disciplines, the more that you're reminding |
| 0:55.3 | yourself of what you've got to do. So I put myself in the gymnasium for health every now |

| 1:18.9 | my dear friend, Dr. Jordan Rubin, is going to be joining us in a moment. And every time we get |
| 1:24.5 | together, we talk, and of course, he's Jewish, and I've got this Jewish background. |
| 1:28.9 | And there's a unique rapport, I think, that Jewish people have with some subjects, and one of them is food. |
| 1:35.1 | And I was thinking about this segment from Jackie Mason. |
| 1:40.0 | I watched in New York. |
| 1:41.6 | I actually met Jackie Mason. |
| 1:43.2 | I ran into him in a restaurant. It's a fascinating guy. I got a picture with him. But I want you guys to catch the Jewish relationship with the subject of food. It's something which is deep and profound. Watch this. You know the Jewish people are the only people in the world who gain weight even when they go to a gym or a health club to lose weight? Watch Gentiles in a gym or a health club. You ever see how busy they are? Swimming, jumping, barbells, doorbells, dumbbells, they're clap, me hack, they're so busy. They're crashing into walls, into furniture, shwezzing, and clopping and haqq. But every Jew is on a bicycle. This is my very thing. The proof is if you take a look at any Jew, his chest is collapsing, but his legs are blowing up from the country. Everything I'm telling you is the truth. Why do you think you never see a Jew in a bar? You never see a Jew in a bar. I don't mean a real pickup joint where Lola's run around picking up girls like this man. I'm talking about decent people in a real bar with his real drinking going on. They'll never see a Jew there. Never. Unless he got lost, looking for a piece of cake and a couple of them. |
