The Michael Berry show somebody wrote this little inspirational

He went to UH and then he went to Harvard and Sheila Jackson he went to Yale. Do you start to see patterns? This was the first

era of people that would not have qualified for Ivy League schools all of a sudden entering Ivy League schools.

They weren't the smartest.

They were the pushiest.

And look where they ended up.

And they posted this vanity, he's so great on the city website then Houston first was paying

124,000 dollars to buy the book the book is just the printout of the website.

If you recall yesterday, the city of Houston for hours did not get back to us on our requests regarding who exactly will be paying for this book that was

specifically produced for Mayor Turner's final state of the city speech.

Keep in mind Houston First is fueled by public dollars. Officials inside Houston First is fueled by public dollars.

Officials inside Houston First telling us they were completely unaware of the request

to pay for the mayor's book until KPRC to investigates came asking questions.

One official also adding,

we're not in the book printing business.

We went to the mayor's office who told us

Houston first had the private funds to do so through dollars raised specifically for the

mayor's state of the city luncheon.

The event used donations to cover the costs, but suddenly after the books were printed there are invoices for
