And our first main topic today gets submitted to... topic Hey John, my question is what are your thoughts on streaming platforms adapting live-action versions of video games?

HBO is adapting The Last of Us.

Netflix is adapting Resident Evil and Assassin's Creed.

And Amazon is adapting fallout, live action versions of video games.

So far, have been most of them have been stincers yes they have but can it be well adapted

in an episodic format all right thanks a lot for sending that in men and yeah listen

the we always joke about it but it has been true in the history of video game adapted movies there's been I don't know 30 of them

maybe more they have been emerging three inescapable truths in life.

Death, taxes, video game movies suck. I mean that's just basically with that.

There have been a couple of very minor exceptions, but we've all been waiting for this golden

era of like comic book movies became the big thing.

We've all been waiting for this new era of video game material being adapted into movies that become big things and big deals

Of course we almost had it at least we thought we were going to have it. When we were heading into the age,

when Assassin's Creed and Warcraft were coming out,

that didn't work out the way we wanted.
