Summary

Have you ever felt like you somehow lost a piece of yourself or that there is something missing in your life? Join Samantha and Denise as they explore the fascinating topic of soul retrieval!

As empaths, emotional and physical trauma takes a deep toll on our sense of self.  Many believe during these types of events, a part of our soul or essence flees the body in order to survive the experience. This essence or life force is what keeps us healthy and balanced mentally, physically and spiritually.

In psychology, this is referred to as disassociation which is seen as a break in how your mind handles information. You may feel disconnected from your thoughts, feelings, memories or surroundings. It can also affect your sense of self and your perception of time.

In bringing back that soul piece and essence, we are bringing the light back to the person.  A similarity between this and traditional therapy techniques can be the rebuilding of new neural pathways in the brain and encourage new behavior patterns that help create new stories for their present and future life rather than staying stuck in repeating the stories of the trauma of the past.

Soul retrieval allows the gifts, talents, and strengths that may have been lost to return and the return of the missing piece can potentially lead with relearning how to love, trust, be creative, be joyful, to feel whole and connected with oneself again.

Yes.

Right, and I think what we're going to be looking at and talking about this week.

1:40.4

Yes, yes, and this goes way, way back. This isn't a new concept and it's people being open-minded, but even if you, maybe we should just start out with what kind of trauma could cause this level of soul loss.
