Let's begin with social media.

It's been liken to smoking by a group of medical leaders today.

The report by the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, that's a bit of a mouthful,

says children are continuously exposed to hateful, addictive and grossly distressing content.

The government's consultation on the matter closes today and Kirstama is coming under

increased pressure to ban social media for under 16s. The chair of the Labour Party, Anna Turley,

spoke about this to Times Radio Breakfast. We've taken our time with this consultation to make

sure that we listen to absolutely everybody to make sure we get the right outcome for the future of our children in this country.

I'm delighted that Prime Minister is going to be meeting some families who've been affected by some of the really traumatic and terrible incidents that have occurred,

who have been campaigning about social media and the impact on children today in number 10.

And I'll be there myself to listen to them to hear their views
