I'm going to read from a book written by Mark Twain.

The title is, is Shakespeare Dead?

And I wanted to read this after coming to my attention during two interviews I had with Robert Frederick

about the authorship of the Shakespeare Corpus by Sir Francis Bacon.

And we talked to the first interview about that.

The second one was some of the information that he left or Shakespeare or Bacon left inside of the Macbeth play.

So I did two interviews with him, but this one is... inside of the Macbeth play.

So I did two interviews with him, but this one is very dated.

It has a lot of kind of flowery language and kind of goes in.

It kind of bounces around between satire anecdote. It talks about Mark Twain's life in Hannibal, I think, Missouri,

but it does go into, I think, some important information,

but it definitely is some dated prose.

Twain wrote it in 1909, and it's fairly short,

so I'm going to read it from its entirety right here is Shakespeare dead

from my autobiography Mark Twain chapter 1 scattered here and there through the stacks of unpublished

manuscript which constitute this formidable autobiography and diary of mine,

certain chapters will in some distant future be found, which deal with claimants.

Claimants historically notorious.

Satan, claimant.

The golden calf, claimant.

The veiled prophet of Corrassan, claimant.
