From American public media this is marketplace tech. I'm Lily Dramale. Several cities across the country are still trying to recover after the COVID-19

pandemic permanently changed how and where many of us work. San Francisco, once teeming with tech workers, is no exception.

But few cities have suffered the sustained reputational damage that San Francisco has.

Last year, someone had this bright idea.

So you've heard of the stories of crime, drug use, and homelessness in San Francisco,

Well our team recently visited San Francisco.

We stopped at Crane Cove Park, a new development filled with families hanging out at the beach the

date we visited.
