| 0:00.0 | Welcome back, everybody, to the Football Guys Daily Update. You give us 10 minutes. We give you everything you need to know to make you the most informed fantasy football player in your league. |
| 0:08.4 | And before we get started, I'd like to tell you that football guys has just launched a new DFS Showdown Optimizer. |
| 0:14.5 | And it's live now for all subscribers. The Showdown Optimizer is free to use for a limited time. |
| 0:21.0 | This is a Hall of Fame tool that would typically be behind a subscription. |
| 0:24.5 | It's built for fantasy players who want a simple way to stay in the game, |
| 0:27.5 | especially if you're out of the playoffs or you just want to play some DFS. |
| 0:30.5 | The tool uses football guys projections to automatically build single game DFS lineups. |
| 0:35.3 | No manual work needed. |
| 0:36.7 | Just pick your game, adjust the settings if you want, and the optimizer will generate |
| 0:40.9 | a competitive lineup instantly. |
| 0:42.9 | It's an easy, fun way to keep playing fantasy through the end of the season. |
| 0:46.2 | You can check it out now on the site and try building a showdown lineup for the next game. |
| 0:50.3 | And with that said, I'm Mike Dempsey alone with football guys own Bob Harris. Bob, let's dig |
| 0:55.3 | into the remainder of week 15 here, beginning with the Colts. Riley Leonard fully participates |
| 1:00.9 | in practice. But Stephen Holder, who covers this team very closely, tells us, uh, uh, uh, don't believe |
| 1:07.5 | it from being around the building. It's Philip Rivers or bust this week. So let's assume he starts. Where do you rank at Michael Pittman, Alec Pierce, and Tyler Warren at the respective position? So we've heard Rivers is impressed with his arm strength. We know he has strong knowledge of the offense. He worked with Shane Steichen for six years. It's fair to believe conditioning isn't much of a factor. He's not a runner. But this all seems a little bit too fairytailish to me as much as I love a happy ending. Seattle's defense is no joke. They rank fourth in the league in sacks. They give up the seventh fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks. They give up the fifth fewest points to opposing wide receivers, although they're not as great at stopping tight ends. So I want to be realistic about this. Not everybody has |
| 1:47.5 | infinite options. I'd still say Pittman and Pierce are playable as wide receiver three or flex level plays. I think Tyler Warren, I'm hoping for tight end one numbers realizing we're uncharted territory. I probably started him if that was my usual approach. Okay, fair enough. Let's move on. Now, this team we're going to talk about isn't until Monday night. So we got a little more time for clarity to kick in. But Devon A. Chan did practice yesterday dealing with a rib injury, Bob. And his head coach, Mike McDaniel, said it to be a gradual increase in activity and physicality as the week goes on. So assuming A Chan plays, is he a top five running back option in the first week of the fantasy playoffs? Yeah, absolutely. Miami's offensive lines playing well. A. Chan has been even better. It's got 1,500 total yards, nearly 250 touches. He has almost 800 more yards and 200 more touches than the next closest |
| 2:35.3 | Dolphins player against the Jets this past Sunday. A chance total 105 yards and a touchdown |
| 2:40.1 | on only eight touches before exiting. He had 17 and a half points. He finished his running back |
| 2:45.2 | nine on the week despite playing only the first half this week. Pittsburgh may have some |
| 2:49.4 | challenges. It sound like T.J. Watts dealing with a lung issue that that might keep them off the field. So they might be diminished on defense. I'd be all in on H.N. if he's playing. All right. Moving on to the Green Bay Packers. Josh Jacobs misses a second consecutive full practice, Bob. So is there a real concern now that he might not be able to go this weekend? I think some concern. I mean, he suffered the knee injury against the Giants a couple weeks back. He sat out to win versus Minnesota. Then he's had productive games against the Lions and Bears the last two weeks. He told reporters yesterday he didn't aggravate the injury against Chicago and an MRI on Monday only found fluid and no structural issues. So the thing to do here is |
| 3:25.4 | prepare. It's a late afternoon kickoff. It's a tough matchup too. Make sure you have fallback |
